MicroVacuum Ltd. is participating in the following EUROSTARS project

Project Acronyme: SILIBACTS
Title: Encapsulation of bacteria with biosilica for fabrication of nanofactories and bacterial biosensors
Aim of the research:
The aim of this project is the introduction of the technique of enzyme (silicatein)-catalyzed biosilica synthesis, developed and patented by the applicants, for the production of silica-encapsulated bacterial nanofactories/sensors (bacteria in a silica glass cage) for biotechnological application.
Duration: January 01, 2009 – December 31, 2011
